The Cynosure delivers a precise wavelength (light source) directly to the over productive melanin, causing its destruction, and therefore reducing the pigment that causes sun spots, age spots and freckles.
The Cynosure Elite Laser is a device that produces an intense but gentle burst of light that heats the pigmented skin and selectively destructs the pigmentation , promoting clearer skin in the deeper dermal layer of the skin.
The Cynosure has dual wavelengths: the Alexandrite 755nm and the Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelengths, which allow the effective treatment of various skin types and pigmentation depths.
This is a Level 2: minimally invasive procedure. However some patients may experience a sensation very similar to an elastic band flicking the skin.
